Location: Parsippany, NJ 07054
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Contract Duration: Through March 2026 | Potential to Convert to Full-Time
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Position Overview
Sirius Staffing is seeking an Order Processing Specialist (SAP) to support our client’s operations in the chemical industry. This role plays a critical part in managing end-to-end order processing, ensuring accuracy in SAP, and maintaining seamless communication between internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via shared email and phone, delivering timely, professional, and solution-oriented responses.
  • Accurately enter and maintain domestic and import sales/sample orders in SAP, including pricing, product details, delivery dates, and account information.
  • Monitor and manage open orders, updating details as needed based on customer requests, production changes, or shipping delays.
  • Maintain customer pricing in SAP; run price block reports and ensure accurate billing for all shipped orders.
  • Process chargebacks (e.g., demurrage, detention) with a high level of accuracy to support customer billing.
  • Utilize SAP, OneNote, and SharePoint to manage customer and product information, including maintaining the Z block report.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics, Supply Chain, ESHS, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and excellent service delivery.
  • Provide coverage for colleagues during absences or vacations to ensure continuity of service.
  • Create and maintain accurate customer profiles to support daily operations.
  • Conduct all business activities with a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and industrial hygiene.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, order management, or related fields; chemical industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and think creatively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
