Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Product Assistant (Manufacturing Technician I) to support manufacturing operations in a clean, controlled production environment. This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on operating equipment, packaging, cleaning, and documenting production activities.
Job Title: Manufacturing Technician/ Packaging Operator 1
Location: St. Louis, MO
Pay: $21 + 7% shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Training Schedule: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (2–3 months)

Must be clean-shaven for respirator use. Must pass a physical. Steel-toed shoes required.
This is NOT a warehouse position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing and processing equipment including CIP, COP, labeling lines, torque equipment, and fill lines.
- Set up and support packaging operations such as bags, bottles, clamps, and torque testing.
- Perform routine room cleaning, monthly phenolic cleaning, and manual cleaning of small parts.
- Pull bottles from inventory and pass materials into a Class 100 cleanroom. Perform waste disposal and maintain proper housekeeping standards.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and assembly line issues. Accurately document production activities and equipment status.
- Execute batch records using SAP (eBR). Ensure all logbooks and documentation are completed per procedures.
- Follow all safety policies, SOPs, and GMP requirements. Properly use and maintain PPE, including respirators. Communicate production issues or deviations to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- SAP experience required. Experience troubleshooting in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Experience with packaging setup and preparation.
- Experience using lab or production equipment.
- Pallet jack experience.
- Strong punctuality and attendance.
- Stable work history with no frequent job hopping.
Skills & Abilities
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills (SAP preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety rules.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Manufacturing/production environment.
- Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work extended periods while wearing PPE, including respirators.
- Flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts depending on production needs.
