About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, safety-focused Chemical Packaging Operator to join our team on a 12-month contract with potential for permanent hire. In this role, you'll be responsible for packaging chemical products with precision, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and preparing items for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify materials approved for packaging
- Fill and seal containers according to production specifications
- Label products accurately and coordinate with the shipping team
- Complete required documentation and enter data into ERP systems
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide support to the shipping department as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field
— OR — - Completion of college-level science coursework plus 2+ years of chemical handling experience (e.g., packaging, manufacturing)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset
- Ability to follow written instructions and accurately complete paperwork
- Physically capable of bending, twisting, and standing for long periods
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Experience using SAPNext or other ERP platforms
