Packaging Operator/Forklift
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Packaging/Forklift Operator in the Blair, NE area. This role offers a full-time, long-term opportunity with a leading chemical manufacturer. As a Packaging Operator/Forklift, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, responsible for a range of duties including operating forklifts, performing packaging tasks, and supporting the overall logistics of our supply chain.

$22.71/hr + Benefits Offered | PTO & Holiday pay
Schedule: 12-hour rotating day shifts 7a-7p, with 2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off.
The first week of training M-F 7:00-430
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and products
- Perform packaging tasks such as sorting, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize the flow of materials and products
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Demonstrated skills in warehouse operations, including housekeeping, load/unload, logistics, and shipping/receiving
- Ability to work efficiently and pay close attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
