Warehouse Operator | Allentown, PA
Sirius Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Operator for a picking and packaging role in Allentown, PA. This is a day shift position, working Monday – Friday. This role involves order picking and pulling while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Monday–Friday, 8:30a-5 OR 9a-5:30p.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with order processing, picking, and packing is required
- Ability to read, speak, hear, and understand English (written and verbal)
- Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, packing equipment, and cutting tools
- Ability to operate PCs, printers, and other office equipment
- Exemplary attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours
Primary Responsibilities
- Pick, verify, and pack customer orders according to established procedures and hazardous materials regulations
- Confirm product details (chemical, catalog, and lot numbers, quantity, weight, and special instructions) against order documentation
- Label, mark, stage, and prepare completed orders for shipment
- Pull materials accurately from stock locations and receive inbound shipments for put-away
- Maintain inventory accuracy through SAP transactions (inventory, ordering, receiving, and storage)
- Perform shelf audits, stock maintenance, and organize packing materials
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations and storage areas
- Use appropriate material-handling equipment based on order size and weight
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder level, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- Ability to remain on feet for up to eight hours per shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier items moved with assistance
- Ability to talk, hear, taste, and smell
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus
- Regular use of phones, computers, keyboards, monitors, and other office equipment
