Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking multiple Packaging Technicians to join our team in St. Louis, MO, working for a Large manufacturing facility. These are temp to perm opportunities working 1st or 2nd shift. 

$20-23/hr BOE (shift differential will be added for 2nd shift)

Shifts:
Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30pm.
Monday-Thursday, 2 pm-12:30am, 7% shift differential 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Fill, cap, label, and stage chemical products (liquids and powders) using manual or semi-Fill, cap, label, and stage chemical products (liquids and powders) using manual or semi-automated packaging equipment.
  • Complete required packaging documentation accurately.
  • Adhere strictly to quality and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Support quality systems for efficient operations.
 
High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-6 years of prior experience in a chemical environment.
  • Proficiency in mixing, packaging, and labeling chemicals.
  • Basic math and data entry skills.
  • Fundamental computer literacy.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, ISO, Pharma, or biotech environments.
  • Physical ability and respiratory fit required.
  • Daily clean-shaven appearance.
Work Experience/Skills:
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Visual acuity for both close and long-distance tasks.
  • Mandatory use of safety equipment including air helmets, masks, safety shoes, apron rubber and Tyvek suits, protective gloves, and safety glasses/goggles.
