Job Opportunity: Packaging Operator
Location: Saint Louis, MO 63103
Pay Rate: $20/hr + 7% shift differential ($21.40/hr)
Shift: 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM CST, Monday through Thursday

What You’ll Do
As a Packaging Operator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Filling and Packaging
    • Stage, fill, cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products.
    • Operate semi-automated equipment for accurate and efficient packaging.
    • Perform manual fills and use tools like pumps and filters for transferring materials.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Follow all safety protocols and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
    • Use, clean, and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and GMP standards.
  • Equipment and Maintenance
    • Set up, operate, and clean semi-automated filling and capping equipment.
    • Perform routine cleaning of the workspace and maintain an audit-ready environment.
    • Utilize tools like electronic balances, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Process Improvement
    • Collaborate on process enhancements and participate in 6S activities.
    • Support quality systems and ensure the safe handling of hazardous products.
What You’ll Need
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience:
    • Preferred: At least 3 months of experience in chemical weighing, laboratory, or packaging.
    • Knowledge of ISO/GMP-regulated environments is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Basic math skills (including metric conversions).
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
