Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking multiple Packaging Operators to join our client’s manufacturing team in St. Louis, MO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours and competitive pay.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $22.50/ hour
*Face must be cleanly shaved for the role.*
Responsibilities:
- Stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label, and over-pack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products according to approved packaging specifications.
- Utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety controls.
- Complete accurate packaging and batch documentation in compliance with ISO procedures.
- Deliver finished products to inventory.
- Fill, cap, and label chemical products safely and accurately.
- Follow all quality, safety, and compliance procedures.
- Support site quality systems and documentation practices.
- Train other employees as needed and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5–6 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or packaging environment.
- Experience mixing, labeling, and handling chemicals.
- Basic math skills (measurements, counts, calculations).
- Basic data entry and computer literacy.
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- SAP experience or familiarity
- ISO, pharmaceutical, or biotech manufacturing experience.
