Sirius Staffing is seeking candidates for a Process Technician position in Miamisburg, OH. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity! Please contact me for more info!
Schedule: 7:30a-4:00 pm.
Pay:$36.00 - $41.00/ hour
Summary: We are looking for a skilled Process Technician to provide hands-on technical expertise in the Carbon Monoxide distillation process, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires a blend of engineering knowledge and practical skills to support the production and purification of Carbon Monoxide, a critical component in various chemical processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain Carbon Monoxide distillation equipment (reactors, condensers, separation units).
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure consistent process reliability.
- Support calibration and asset management programs to maximize uptime and safety.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to identify process improvements and enhance overall efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO, cGMP, EH&S, and safety standards.
- Accurately document all procedures, maintenance, and quality records in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Train and mentor junior operators and maintenance staff on safe operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, distillation, or process operations.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with distillation equipment or chemical processing systems.
- Knowledge of PPE, P&IDs, process safety, and quality systems (ISO/cGMP).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and instrumentation is a plus.
