Product Specialist
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Product Specialist for a contract opportunity in Allentown, PA.
Pay: $37.78/hour
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and execute product orders for high-purity specialty gas and chemical delivery systems.
- Configure equipment to meet customer specifications, safety standards, and functional requirements.
- Process equipment orders, including standard and highly customized configurations.
- Create and maintain product documentation including bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and schematics for manufacturing and customer use.
- Support the sales team by providing technical guidance on scope, configuration, and pricing for engineered-to-order systems.
- Configure equipment software to align with mechanical and system specifications.
- Assist with new product integration into manufacturing operations.
- Provide technical support during the design and manufacturing phases, collaborating with operations, production planning, and quality teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce product costs through continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience working with mechanical or electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, system specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
