Production Line Lead

Sirius Staffing is currently hiring for a Production Line Leader for a contract-to-hire position based in Whitsett, NC.
Pay Range: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday- Friday. 6:30a-3p
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Line Leader to oversee daily operations on our server manufacturing line. This role is responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in electronics or server hardware production, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This role is responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in electronics or server hardware production, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production line staff to meet daily production output goals.
- Monitor and support assembly of server components including motherboards, CPUs, memory, and power supplies.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) guidelines.
- Conduct line audits and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate technical problems to engineering or maintenance teams as needed.
- Train and mentor production operators on manufacturing processes, tools, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with planning, logistics, and quality teams to optimize workflow and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Requirement:
- High school diploma or technical certification required; associate degree in electronics, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in electronics or server hardware production.
- At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of server architecture and electronic component handling.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with LeMES systems or similar production tracking systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus in multicultural production environments.
