As a Production Technician, you will work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, helping to prepare, package, and label medicines. Your job is to ensure that products are made correctly, safely, and meet high-quality standards before they are sent to hospitals and pharmacies.
Weekend shift: Friday-Sat-Sunday from 7am to 7:30pm
Payrate: $32/hr-$33/hr
What You’ll Be Doing:
Setting Up Equipment – Prepare and adjust machines for production and testing to ensure they work properly.
Measuring & Handling Materials – Weigh and portion chemicals into containers, following safety procedures.
Operating Machines – Run machines that fill, seal, label, and package medicines. If a machine stops working, you’ll troubleshoot and fix minor issues.
Checking Quality – Make sure everything is labeled correctly, meets safety guidelines, and is properly recorded.
Keeping Records – Document important details such as batch numbers, production quantities, and machine settings.
Cleaning & Maintenance – Keep equipment and work areas clean, disinfected, and in good condition.
Inventory Management – Track supplies and order more when needed.
Following Safety Rules – Wear protective equipment like gloves and safety shoes and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Helping Improve Processes – Suggest ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste in production.
Team Collaboration – Work with other team members to ensure production runs smoothly.
What You Need to Succeed:
Pharmaceutical Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical or chemical production environment.
Basic Math & Measuring Skills: Ability to measure ingredients and check quantities accurately.
Mechanical Skills: Experience using tools, fixing minor machine issues, and understanding how equipment works.
Attention to Detail: Checking labels, packaging, and documentation to prevent mistakes.
Good Communication: Understanding instructions and working well with a team.
Computer Skills: Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel for record-keeping.
