Production Technician
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Production Technician II for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with pharmaceutical manufacturing and aseptic filling experience who are looking to grow their career in a GMP-regulated environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Previous isolator experience is REQUIRED
- 3-5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Experience with aseptic filling in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of GMP regulations and documentation
- High School Diploma or GED (college coursework preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with equipment cleaning, preparation, and assembly
- Stopper preparation, filling, capping, and packaging
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aseptic filling operations in a GMP cleanroom environment
- Execute manufacturing processes using batch records and SOPs
- Prepare, sanitize, and replenish manufacturing equipment and supplies
- Verify equipment calibration prior to production
- Operate filling suite equipment and support production activities
- Perform component preparation, filling, capping, and packaging operations
- Maintain accurate GMP documentation
- Train and assist new team members
- Coordinate work activities to meet production schedules
- Provide floor leadership in the absence of supervisors or senior technicians
- Safely transport and dispose of hazardous chemicals
- Follow all GMP, safety, and quality procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE
- Exposure to SIP100; PPE is provided
