Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p
Pay:$25.00- $43.00/ hr ( depending on experience)
Summary : This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with procurement, material tracking, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital investment projects, SAP proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Expedite project materials (bulks), equipment, vendor engineering drawings, and fabrication schedules.
- Track and monitor material timelines, entering all purchase orders from SAP into the expediting log.
- Issue and distribute an updated expediting log weekly to all project team members.
- Participate in weekly project status meetings and provide updates on delivery timelines.
- Assist in the administration of project purchase orders (POs), ensuring correct format and compliance with SAP processing requirements.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders to confirm receipt of correct materials and enter Goods Receipt into SAP.
- Ensure that materials meet company quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate, document, and manage material distribution to construction contractors.
- Assist with pipe spool prefabrication unit rate contractor invoices and support bid analyses for such contracts.
- Interpret pipe isometrics and pipe spool detail sheets as needed.
- Report delays or supply chain issues to the Project Manager and Construction Manager to assess project impact.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in capital investment project support (planning, estimating, scheduling, or project controls).
- Strong knowledge of industry practices, cost and schedule management, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with vendors, contractors, planners, engineers, and procurement teams.
