Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a temp to hire opportunity in Mobile, AL. The candidate will provide support for Industrial HVAC projects for clients across the US. The ideal candidate will have industrial experience and proficiency in project document management, strong technical skills, and excellent coordination abilities.
  • Industrial Experience working in a Manufacturing environment 
  • Document Management: Download and upload project documents from document control systems such as Teams Binder and Procore.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize software tools including Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Adobe, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Document Preparation: Read and understand specifications, drawings, schedules, and prepare submittal documents for project scope, maintain records, and manage revisions until approvals are returned.
  • Order Preparation: Prepare purchase orders and release orders based on lead times and project schedule installation start dates.
  • Coordination: Work closely with general, installing, startup, test & balancing, and commissioning contractors to ensure project success.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager assistant.
  • Familiarity with downloading and uploading project documents using Teams Binder and Procore.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Adobe, Outlook, Teams, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to read and understand project specifications, drawings, and schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
