Project Manager
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Hybrid Project Engineer for a contract position in Burlington, MA.
Pay: $74.00/ hour
Summary: This role will support custom single-use hardware system projects by working closely with sales teams and customers to develop quotations, initiate and manage projects, and ensure the successful delivery of engineered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation/modification of P&IDs, specifications, technical exceptions, schedules and project cost based on the review and interpretation of customer’s request for quote/proposal and user requirement documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality standards are met.
- Monitor and control project spending to stay within approved budgets.
- Evaluate the impact of client-requested modifications on scope, cost, and schedule; secure customer agreement on changes.
- Develop factory release test plans.
- Facilitate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at supplier sites.
- Support US and LATAM sales teams, with occasional collaboration with EU and Asia regions.
- Provide weekly project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in root-cause investigations and corrective action activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electromechanical preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Pharmaceutical or bioprocessing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven project management experience.
- Experience with single-use systems (mixers, bins, bioreactors) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, GAMP, ASME-BPE, CE, and UL guidelines.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Project, SharePoint, and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel for FATs.
- Biopharma experience is a strong plus.
