QC Laboratory Clerk
Job Description
- High school diploma, combined with prior laboratory experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Word is mandatory
- Demonstrated accuracy and proficiency in analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a heavily regulated environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient interpersonal skills
- Sound mathematical aptitude
- Maintain comprehensive records of all conducted tests and communicate results to relevant personnel
- Report laboratory testing data accurately and complete documentation adhering to laboratory protocols and regulatory standards
- Coordinate and sample incoming raw materials and finished components for cGMP manufacturing, if required
- Organize shipment and submission of samples for external laboratory testing
- Maintain laboratory glassware by cleaning, organizing, and replacing as necessary
- Track and order laboratory supplies as needed
- Execute tasks according to established procedures and protocols, recognizing and addressing deviations
- Familiarize with and utilize all necessary forms, software, and documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
- Organize and archive both physical and electronic laboratory documentation
- Acquire proficiency in essential departmental functions and deliverables
- Learn and perform basic troubleshooting skills
- Complete all necessary training before engaging in any activities
- Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
- Adhere to all company safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and directives.
- Safely conduct all laboratory activities, utilizing MSDS for chemical hazard assessment, observing appropriate laboratory procedures, and promptly reporting incidents jeopardizing laboratory personnel safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area through regular housekeeping.
- Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Manage chemical inventory and assist in proper waste disposal procedures
- Exhibit personal accountability for ESHS-related behaviors
- Ensure readiness with appropriate knowledge and tools before task execution
- Complete all required ESHS training and stay updated with applicable learning plans
