Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician for a short-term contract in Indianapolis, IN.
Pay $24.80/hr
Shift:4p- 12:30a,
Responsibilities:
- Perform pH testing, analytical weighing, glassware preparation, equipment calibrations, and reagent preparation.
- Conduct routine analytical testing for in-process samples, finished products, and raw materials using HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis instrumentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and data entry using PC-based systems.
- Follow established laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Resolve routine laboratory issues and escalate complex problems to higher levels when needed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment while following all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- General lab experience, including handling chemicals, pipetting, using balances, and performing basic math calculations.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, masks, steel-toed safety shoes, and long pants (PPE provided).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred.
- Experience with HPLC, Karl Fischer titration, and other analytical techniques.
