Quality Scientist (Onsite – Branchburg, NJ)
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Pay Rate: $43-$44 per hour
Duration: 03/17/2025 – 03/16/2026
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Onsite: 100% onsite

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Quality Scientist to join the QC Analytical/Metals group in Branchburg, NJ. This hands-on role requires spending 80% of the time in the lab, analyzing lithography chemicals and other formulations used in semiconductor fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis
- Conduct hands-on laboratory work, including method development
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical equipment
- Provide analytical support for product quality issues
- Support Gage R&R studies and transfer methods between instruments
- Collaborate with quality, production, R&D, and commercial teams to ensure timely product delivery
- Work with instruments such as auto titrators, HPLC, GPC, GC, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and GFAA
- Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Assurance program
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific discipline with at least 3 years of industrial QC experience
OR - Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific discipline with at least 15 years of industrial QC experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Perkin Elmer and/or Agilent ICP-MS systems
- Experience with ICP-MS direct organic analysis, GFAA, and OES-ICP
- Knowledge of cleanroom environments and laboratory data management systems
- Proficiency in chromatographic (GC, HPLC, GPC) and spectroscopic techniques
- Strong background in method development and analytical chemistry
- Experience with statistical tools such as Excel, Minitab, or JMP
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Work with organic solvents and chemicals
