- Salary: 112K – 140K, plus an additional 25% bonus

Overview:
We are seeking a Reliability Manager to lead reliability and maintenance initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in improving plant efficiency, reducing downtime, maximizing equipment uptime, and maintaining safe and reliable operations at a modern mill.
- Experience in the wood products or paper/pulp industry, or other heavy industrial/manufacturing settings, is ideal
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve recurring equipment and process failures using:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCFA), Reliability modeling and prediction, and Six Sigma and statistical process control
- Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure equipment reliability and maintainability, including lifecycle management of new and modified assets.
- Guide repair/replace, redesign, and make/buy decisions based on reliability & value analysis.
- Analyze asset performance metrics such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), remaining useful life, and operating condition.
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams and production personnel on equipment reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance or reliability engineering experience with fixed plant equipment.
- Hands-on knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability tools, including: Preventative Maintenance Cycles, Vibration analysis, and Lubrication
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Project management and supervisory experience.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the wood products or paper/pulp industry, or other heavy industrial/manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability-focused software.
- Knowledge of OSB, lumber, or other mill processes.
