Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Senior Paralegal for a 1-month contract working a hybrid work schedule in Trexlertown, PA.
 
Schedule: 
Hybrid, 2 days onsite
M-F 8a-5p
 
Under the general direction of Procurement, with support available from Procurement Legal Counsel, provides professional legal support to attorneys in the Legal Department and the Indirect Procurement team on general contracts (Tier agreements for Goods and Services).  The Paralegal will actively participate in a team environment to review and evaluate legal issues and demonstrate sound management of assigned matters.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish and foster good working relationships with key customer contacts and act as administrative liaison between company and outside counsel
  • Understand customer business requirements and effectively communicate the company’s risk tolerance to internal customers
  • Maintain an up-to-date and effective knowledge of companies preferred negotiating position on Tier agreements
  • Under limited attorney supervision, independently review, assist and advise on various complex litigation, environmental issues/matters, and/or standard Supply and Non-Disclosure Agreements; prepare legal documents, draft correspondence and provide legal research in these areas
  • Manage all critical dates and deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules, scheduling orders and agency requests
  • Provide guidance and support to other paralegals and/or administrative assistants as needed
  • Special projects as requested, including contract drafting and revising
   
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Paralegal Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks quickly, accurately and efficiently and have excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers
  • Excellent skills at various PC and internet based applications; Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint
