Senior Process Controls Engineer

Schedule:
M-F, 8a-5p, onsite
Travel: Project-related travel required
Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and maintain Aspen IP.21 systems, ensuring the life cycle management of PIMS architecture.
- Provide end-user support, including:
- Conducting basic IP.21 user training.
- Developing reports and supporting users with Excel add-ins.
- Creating and maintaining trends and ASPEN graphics.
- Facilitating data access to relevant systems.
- Modifying ASPEN IP.21 configurations, such as adding new tags or updating existing ones.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications and project reports.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within engineering processes.
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, applying new knowledge to enhance systems and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise with PIMS, particularly Aspen IP.21.
- Proven experience leading engineering projects and initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred skills:
- Process controls experience.
- Experience integrating PIMS systems with various OT systems, including automation and control systems.
- Familiarity with OPC communication.
- Knowledge of SQL+
