Senior Structural Engineer-PE Required
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in structural or civil engineering, with a strong background in project management, design, and team leadership. This role requires a Professional Engineering License and offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary design teams, collaborate with clients, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

Rate:
90-120k
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead design teams of 5-10 members across multiple office locations.
- Efficiently allocate company resources to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Liaise with clients and professionals in other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers and drafters.
- Perform field duties, including site inspections and evaluations of conditions and foundations.
- Prepare calculations, designs, and drawings in compliance with customer and code requirements.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction methods.
- Create 3D models for design purposes and develop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Conduct inspections to evaluate structural integrity and assess compliance with engineering codes.
- Utilize structural engineering software such as RISA or Autodesk Robot for design and analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8-12 years of experience, preferably with exposure to consulting engineering.
- Professional Engineering License (REQUIRED).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and structural engineering software.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, or Autodesk Robot.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform field duties, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varied environmental conditions.
