Storeroom Associate
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Storeroom Clerk for a long term contract in Axis, AL. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storeroom Clerk to support daily operations within a fast-paced plant environment. This role is highly interactive and requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and comfort working with frequent interruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize storeroom inventory including supplies, parts, and equipment
- Assist employees in locating materials and fulfilling requests
- Receive, check in, and distribute deliveries to appropriate departments
- Perform routine inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Process shipments using UPS and internal systems
- Support uniform distribution and tracking
- Provide gate escort assistance as needed
- Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy
- Communicate effectively with employees across departments
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Professional email communication and etiquette
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeroom, or inventory-related role
- Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment
