Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Structures Aviation Engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity to work for an aerospace facility in Mobile, AL. The Structures Engineer will provide engineering services and support for in-service customer support and new aircraft modifications.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering services for the support of the C212 and CN235 aircraft operating in the U.S.
- Provide in-service structural repair design and substantiation support for International customers.
- Generate and review engineering drawings, structural design and substantiations, technical reports, and other publications for new aircraft modifications.
- Review structural analysis documents within the team to verify compliance with airworthiness standards and report any potential non-compliance.
- Ability to perform static strength analysis.
- Ability to perform fatigue and damage tolerance studies preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautical) or equivalent experience + at least 4 years of experience in an aerospace engineering environment required.
- Previous experience/knowledge in CASA C212 and CN235 aircraft is a plus; if no BS degree, then experience in the CASA C212 and CN235 aircraft is required
- 2 years of experience working in SolidWorks is required.
- Must have experience with Stress Engineering and Stress Analysis.
- Proficient in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and various CAD suites.
Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
- Must understand, read, and write proficiently in English to read and understand appropriate manuals, schematics, and technical information necessary to adequately perform duties.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required but is desired for communications with other locations in Spain.
