Systems Administrator
Job Description
Our operations runs 24/7, you make sure that any service interruptions are addressed quickly and efficiently. To do so, you will work closely with the maintenance team, enterprise IT support, operations, engineering, and application support. You will work directly on installing, configuring, and maintaining a secure network, capable of running and supporting site operations.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day operation and maintenance of the Operations network, including; Infrastructure maintenance and updates; Planning of refreshes
- Coordinating the resolution of network issues with global IT team
- Coordinating any changes to the network and basic network administration tasks
- Administering users’ system access and working to protect information to meet security requirements.
- hardware and software installations
- Ability to work independently, manage requests, and prioritize tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience in technical roles of Windows, VMware, Network, Storage, Active Directory, End-Point Protection
- Knowledge of networking technologies and network infrastructure including DNS, TCP/IP, Firewall rule configuration and L2/L3 switching concepts
- Experience in systems administration in a production environment
- Understanding of server technologies and maintenance, including installation, patching, backup, and recovery services
- Active Directory – Operation and Maintenance
- Knowledge and expertise of Desktop Engineering
- Detailed knowledge about Windows 10 and 11
- Experience with configuration management tools like SCCM / KACE
- Knowledge of End Point Protection software such as Sentinel One and security practices
- Compliance with IT policies and standards
- Familiarity of ServiceNow ticketing system preferred (optional)
- Some of the work will be in a cleanroom environment, requiring cleanroom apparel.
- Flexibility to work off hours in emergency cases.
- On-site, not remote
