Systems Analyst Consultant
Location: Tampa, FL

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst Consultant to lead complex software development and enterprise application initiatives. This role is responsible for developing applications, implementing software packages, integrating systems, and providing 24x7 application support.
The ideal candidate collaborates across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a strong focus on design, development, and implementation. This individual serves as a subject matter expert, leads technical initiatives, and mentors junior team members while working under minimal supervision.

Required Experience with OpenText Technologies:
- OpenText Archiving and Doc Access for SAP
- OpenText Archive Center
- OpenText Content Server
- OpenText Capture Center
- OpenText Enterprise Scan
- OpenText Web Viewer
- OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP
- Intelligent Capture Center
- OpenText Directory Services
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- C# programming with OpenText APIs
- Development experience with OpenText Exstream
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead complex software development projects from concept through implementation
- Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and stakeholders to define specifications
- Lead the selection, configuration, and integration of software packages
- Drive vendor interaction and software implementation efforts
- Architect and lead integration of applications with complex interfaces
- Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for mission-critical applications
- Manage release schedules and coordinate maintenance activities
- Produce required SDLC documentation, estimates, and deliverables
- Oversee and review deliverables from junior team members
- Serve as Technical Lead on multiple concurrent projects
- Mentor and direct junior staff; help develop and enforce team standards
- Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management
- Drive continuous improvement in SDLC, application support, and IT architecture practices
Leadership & Supervision
This position operates in a senior leadership capacity:
- No direct reports, but provides indirect supervision and oversight of junior staff and contract resources
- Oversees technical execution of projects and daily team responsibilities
- May serve as backup to the Manager in a limited capacity
- Recognized subject matter expert across multiple business and technical domains
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Experience
- Required: 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development
- Preferred: 12+ years of relevant experience
Certifications
- Preferred: Two or more professional certifications in job-related disciplines
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Expert knowledge of business software applications and supporting hardware technologies
- Strong understanding of IT architecture and development tools
- Proven experience creating and reviewing technical design specifications
- Ability to develop project plans and partner with Project Managers on large initiatives
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience presenting technical information to leadership and stakeholders
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lead adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices

Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based in Tampa, FL
- Occasional travel to operating locations may be required
- On-call availability may be required to support critical applications
