Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a contract position in Tampa, FL.
Schedule: 4 days in office / 1 day remote.
Position concept:
Partner with the internal Talent Acquisition team and occasionally business leaders to understand hiring needs; support fair, inclusive recruitment; source and screen applicants; conduct pre‑screen interviews; prepare interview guides and materials; schedule and manage interview logistics; and maintain timely candidate communication.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with TA and hiring leaders to clarify position and business requirements.
- Support recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent through a fair, inclusive process.
- Source candidates and screen applications against job requirements.
- Conduct pre‑screening interviews.
- Prepare interview guides and materials.
- Schedule interviews, reserve locations or virtual rooms, and send calendar invites.
- Manage overall interview logistics and candidate communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience;
- PHR or SPHR preferred.
- 2+ years of Talent Acquisition, Recruitment/Staffing, or HR experience with full‑life‑cycle recruitment knowledge.
- Experience in corporate recruiting or a mix of corporate and agency environments preferred.
- Ability to consult with and be a value‑add partner to business unit leaders, plus strong screening and sourcing skills.
- High initiative; proactive, results‑oriented, and able to work with urgency.
- Solid project management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- ATS experience and proactive sourcing are preferred.
