Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking two reliable and detail-oriented  Night shift Tool Room Attendants for a contract-to-hire opportunity at a facility in Mobile, AL. 
Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, distribution, and record-keeping of various tools and supplies throughout the facility. This role involves inventory management, ensuring proper calibration of tools, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Schedule:
  • Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM to 12:45 AM
Pay: $20.00 to $22.00/ hour 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry to maintain accurate records of all tools and equipment.
  • Transfer tools to designated areas within the facility and return them to inventory as needed.
  • Stock and inventory tools daily, ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Manage customer-furnished tools and maintain proper inventory control.
  • Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Ensure tools remain within calibration and perform routine tooling repairs, including lubrication.
  • Maintain and inspect the quality of respirators.
  • Build and install tool racks and shelving units as required.
  • Identify and manage aircraft tools and equipment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in parts inventory or a distribution environment, with aviation experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, P2K, or similar is preferred.
  • Knowledge of aviation tools and parts is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing parts inventory accurately.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
