Job Description

Sirius Staffing has immediate openings for Warehouse Operators in Allentown, PA. These positions Support the shipment of customer orders following current procedures and guidelines for selecting, checking, and/or packing. 
 
Schedule 8:30-5 M-F

Essential Job Functions 
  •  Pack items for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Check chemicals, catalog numbers, lot numbers, special requests, unit sizes, and weights against order documentation.
  • Apply all required labels and markings to the boxes to meet hazardous materials regulations.
  • Stage finished boxes for metering and shipping, ensuring they are ready for delivery.
  • Pull materials from stock areas for customer orders accurately and neatly, using the appropriate equipment.
  • Unpack shipments for put-away and maintain the cleanliness of work areas and stock locations.
  • Perform shelf maintenance in stock areas, audit shelves to ensure inventory accuracy, and use SAP for inventory management.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks and assignments as directed
  • Exemplary attendance and adherence to the schedule 
 
Basic Qualifications: 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of acceptable work experience (required)
  • Preferably, at least 3 years of solid work experience with a progression (no unexplainable gaps)
  • Ability to read, hear, speak, and understand the English language
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication
  • Familiarity with operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, and packing equipment
  • Competence in using PCs and printers
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
  • Must be able to stay on feet for an entire eight-hour shift
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • May be required to move more than 50 pounds with assistance
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Regular use of phones, computers, computer monitors, and office equipment
  • Proficient in typing on a computer keyboard and reading CRTs/computer monitors
