Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate position in Hopewell, VA.
Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for rotating through all warehouse functions, including order picking, putaways, order preparation, shipping, and receiving
Responsibilities:
- Rotate through all warehouse functions, including order picking, putaways, order preparation, shipping, and receiving.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and inventory.
- Perform inventory transactions and warehouse operations using the SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module.
- Follow ISO procedures and standard operating procedures in all warehouse activities.
- Ensure compliance with IATA, IMDG, and 49 CFR hazardous material shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (as required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualification :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
- Experience using SAP, preferably the Warehouse Management (WM) module, is preferred.
- Knowledge of IATA, IMDG, and 49 CFR hazardous material shipping regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required.
