Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
 Location:  St Louis, MO

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with strong computer skills and Oracle experience to join our team. This role primarily involves warehouse-related tasks requiring a high level of data entry, accuracy, and time management. Unlike traditional warehouse roles, this position does not involve RF scanners, SAP, forklifts, or large-scale warehouse tasks. Instead, it requires a strong focus on typing, multi-tasking, and attention to detail using Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping & Receiving: Pick, pack, and prepare items for outbound shipments with a focus on accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and ensure materials are stored at the appropriate temperature per company protocols.
  • Quality Control: Inspect shipments, verify against packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Documentation & Labeling: Accurately document and label materials according to standard procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and proper use of PPE. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Additional Tasks: Utilize department tools as required and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience & Knowledge:
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working with Oracle and inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours during shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Solid math skills, including unit-of-measure conversions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Work involves operating pallet jacks (including electric pallet jacks, used occasionally).
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work includes exposure to cold environments (e.g., walk-in coolers and freezers).
