Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Bay City, TX to oversee daily warehouse operations within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving coordination, and ensuring all warehouse activities are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP experience, strong organizational skills, and prior experience managing parts inventory in an industrial setting.

Rate: $30-45hr.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and a well-organized parts inventory
  • Oversee loading and unloading of materials
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders (POs)
  • Receive inventory in SAP and disposition parts and supplies to the plant
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Maintenance, Operations, and Controlling teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of materials
  • Perform cycle counts in accordance with established procedures
  • Support month-end and year-end inventory activities
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with site ESH and safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating or maintaining parts inventory in a chemical or manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of SAP, including receiving against POs and releasing parts to work orders
  • Experience performing cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • High School Diploma or GED required
 
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment, including hazardous materials, noise, and varying temperatures
