Warehouse Operator
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a short-term contract in Allentown, PA.
Pay $20.00/hr
Shift:8:30am- 5 pm, or 9a-5:30pm
Summary: This role involves order picking and pulling while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pull, and prepare orders based on warehouse requirements.
- Handle light to moderate lifting, with 84% of orders weighing 5 lbs or less, 7% between 5-10 lbs, and 9% over 10 lbs.
- Ensure accurate stock organization and inventory levels.
- Assist in preparing, packaging, and labeling orders for shipment.
- Ensure that outbound shipments meet quality control and accuracy standards.
- Support receiving operations by unpacking, sorting, and storing incoming material.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, masks, steel-toed safety shoes, and long pants. (PPE is provided).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Steady work history, computer knowledge, attention to detail.
- Will be walking 12 miles a day and standing all day.
- Prior experience working with chemicals is a plus.
