Warehouse Operator
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a temp-to-hire in Allentown, PA.
Pay $20.00/hr
Shift:8:30am- 5pm, or 9a-5:30p
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of solid work experience with no unexplained gaps.
Essential Job Functions:
- Pack items for shipping following procedures.
- Verify chemicals, catalog numbers, lot numbers, and special requests match the order.
- Apply labels and markings as needed for hazardous materials.
- Prepare finished boxes for shipment.
- Pick items accurately and neatly for orders.
- Use the appropriate equipment based on order size and weight.
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming shipments.
- Keep the work area and stock locations clean and organized.
- Perform shelf maintenance, inventory audits, and data entry for inventory management.
- Complete other tasks as needed.
- Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to the schedule
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Steady work history: Must have at least 3 years of solid work history
- 3 years of related work experience required
- Computer knowledge
- Attention to detail.
- Must have Forklift Experience
- RF Scanner experience required
- Operating Pallet Jack and selecting carts/packaging equipment required
- Required to wear steel tip or composite shoes/boots
