Warehouse Operator
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a temp-to-hire in Allentown, PA.
Pay $23.00/hr
Shift:8:30am- 5pm, or 9a-5:30p
The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of solid work experience with no unexplained gaps.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate machinery: Safely and efficiently operate various powered industrial trucks (forklifts, order pickers, etc.).
- Load and unload: Load and unload trailers and trucks with raw materials, finished goods, and waste products.
- Selecting and put-away: Select orders and put away inbound materials.
- Packing/unpacking: Pack orders and prepare them for shipment; unpack inbound materials for inventory storage.
- Inspect equipment: Perform and document daily pre-operation inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure safe equipment operation.
- Maintain the work area: Keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe by tidying materials and removing waste or debris.
- Stock management: Move, stack, and stage products or materials in designated locations, including high-rack systems.
- Documentation: Use handheld scanners to accurately track product movement or maintain manual logs and records.
- Safety and compliance: Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.
- Maintain exemplary attendance and adherence to the work schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Steady work history: Must have at least 5 years of solid work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of forklift experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, packing equipment (tape machines, etc.), cutting tools, PCs, and printers.
