Job Description

Sirius Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Operator for a picking and packaging role in Allentown, PA. This is a day shift position, working Monday – Friday. Contact us today if you are interested. 

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hr
 
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Picking and packing experience required
  • Ability to read, speak, hear, and understand English (written and verbal)
  • Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, packing equipment, and cutting tools
  • Ability to operate PCs, printers, and other office equipment
  • Exemplary attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Pick, check, and pack customer orders following established procedures and guidelines
  • Pack materials for shipment in compliance with hazardous materials regulations
  • Verify chemicals, catalog numbers, lot numbers, unit size, weight, and special instructions against order documentation
  • Apply required labels and markings to shipping containers
  • Stage completed boxes and orders for shipment
  • Pull materials accurately and neatly from stock locations for customer orders
  • Receive inbound shipments by unpacking and preparing materials for put-away
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations and stock areas
  • Organize and safely store packing materials
  • Perform shelf maintenance and audit stock locations for inventory accuracy
  • Use SAP to inventory, order, receive, and store materials
  • Use appropriate equipment based on order size and weight
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder level, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
  • Ability to remain on feet for up to eight hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier items moved with assistance
  • Ability to talk, hear, taste, and smell
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus
  • Regular use of phones, computers, keyboards, monitors, and other office equipment
