Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Shipper/Receiver 1 for a temp-to-possible perm position in Bellevue, WA. The Shipper/Receiver must have experience in Logistics, and have proven experience with logistical tracking software, SAP preferred. Our client seeks candidates with a proven track record of longevity in their work history.

Rate: $25/hr
Schedule: 6a – 2p or 8a-4p (flexible hours)

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-year experience in warehousing & logistics and experience with ERP systems. 
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or ERP equivalent logistical tracking software
  • Basic math, computer, and Microsoft Office skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Able to work within a team environment with good time-management skills. 
  • Flexibility to changing priorities and schedules. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities: 
  • Picks and packs orders, including handling non-routine shipping requests. Processes domestic and international shipments using small parcel and freight carriers, utilizing carrier software or websites to generate shipping documents.
  • Stores materials in designated locations based on required temperature specifications.
  • Transfers products between locations both physically and within the ERP system. Identifies opportunities for optimizing warehouse space.
  • Conducts inventory transactions, identifies non-conforming materials, and performs cycle counts as required.
  • Accurately enters part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, locations, document numbers, and quantities into the ERP system.
  • Updates the Outbound Shipment tracking report in Teams as needed.
  • Maintains certifications for handling Dangerous Goods and processes these shipments as required.
  • Serves as the primary backup for the Warehouse Receiving position when necessary.
  • Leads the processing of equipment repairs and ensures the completion of related work orders.
  • Acts as the primary backup for processing manufacturing work orders.
  • Adjusts to changing priorities as directed, which may include working overtime.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Internally: Production Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, EHS&F, Equipment Repair, Transportation & Logistics, Product     Management, Sales & Marketing, Tech Services.
Externally: Logistics vendors, 3PL warehousing, material suppliers, contract manufacturers.
