Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse/Packaging Operator in the Blair, NE area. This role offers a full-time, contract-to-direct-hire opportunity with a leading chemical manufacturer. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the loading and unloading, operating cutting-edge packaging equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Rate:  $22.71/hr ++ $1500 SIGN ON BONUS + PTO accrued | Holiday Pay | Medical/Dental/Vision insurance offered 

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day shifts 7a-7p, with 2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off. 

Essential Functions:
  • Loading and unloading multiple modes of transport.
  • Operating state-of-the-art packaging equipment
  • Compliance with standard operating procedures as learned during training
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must have a proven track record of longevity work history 
  • Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to learn and operate a forklift
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently climb stairs to access assigned work areas
  • Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and overhead reaching required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Average reading ability required
  • Proficiency in written, verbal, and sign language English communication
