Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a contract opportunity in Sinking Springs, PA.
Pay: $22.00/ hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 7:30a-4p, with Overtime as needed
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in the Repack Room. This position involves handling, repackaging, and managing chemical and finished products in a controlled environment. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer requests, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting various warehouse functions including material handling and shipping.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in the Repack Room. This position involves handling, repackaging, and managing chemical and finished products in a controlled environment. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer requests, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting various warehouse functions including material handling and shipping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Repackage chemicals and finished products per customer requests in a controlled environment.
- Receive, put away, retrieve, and ship raw and finished materials for internal and external customers.
- Perform cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification required or ability to obtain).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE): hair net, scrubs, safety shoes, glasses, Nitrile gloves, and respirator mask.
- Handle dangerous goods shipments in accordance with IATA regulations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ISO, GMP, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
- Lift up to 70 lbs as required for material handling..
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Strong material handling skills and knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Computer knowledge and proficiency in warehouse management systems.
- Experience with dangerous goods shipping (IATA certification preferred).
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Understanding of ISO, GMP, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
- Ability to work in a controlled environment and follow strict safety protocols.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
