Warehouse Technician
Job Description
- Pulling orders from storage areas and warehouses for customer orders and stock transfers
- Staging and prepping drums, totes, and pails for shipments
- Loading trailers of all sizes with proper bracing and weight distribution to meet DOT regulations
- Unloading trailers after verifying material quality with onsite QC lab
- Placing containers in proper locations, both physically and in the ERP system (i.e. SAP)
- Cycle counting plant inventory and reporting inaccurate counts
- Verifying outbound packages meet DOT and/or RCRA Hazardous Waste compliance (i.e. labeling, condition, etc.)
- Performing housekeeping of the warehouse and storage areas to maintain high standard of cleanliness
- Perform transactions in SAP to ensure inventory accuracy
- High school diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred
- Forklift trained preferred
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office, SAP (preferred)
- Able to work 8-hour fixed shifts M-F, and overtime as needed
- Good communication skills – vocal and written
- Strong commitment to safety
