Weekend Material Handler
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a (Part-Time) Weekend Material Handler worker for a contract-to-hire role in Whitsett, NC.
Pay Rate: $16.50
Schedule: Saturday - Sunday (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned production, warehouse, and general operational duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Meet established productivity expectations and strict deadlines.
- Work effectively with team members, supervisors, leads, and employees across multiple departments.
- Follow all established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities based on production and operational needs.
- Work overtime as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, leads, or management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time for each scheduled shift.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and handle up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to frequently grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel, and balance.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
