Summary: Supports the shipment of customer orders following current procedures and guidelines for selecting, checking and/or packing. Process inbound shipments by unpacking and restocking, following current procedures and guidelines. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Packs items for shipment to customer. 
• Checks chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing or receiving instructions. 
• Packs the material, following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulations.
• Applies all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulations. Stages finished boxes to be metered/shipped. 
• Pulls items for customer orders. Accurately and neatly pulls materials from stock areas for customer orders. 
• Stages completed orders to appropriate area of facility. 
• Uses proper equipment for appropriate order (size of order, weight etc). 
• Receives product. Unpacks shipments for put away. 
• Picks up trash and debris in workstation and stock areas. 
• Keeps work area and stock location safe, clean, and organized. 
• Keeps packing materials organized and stored safely. 
• Performs shelf maintenance in stock areas. Audits shelves to ensure inventory and correct product location; 
• Using SAP, Inventories, orders, receives, and stores all needed materials. 
• Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned. 
• Exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Steady work history with required picking and packing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and selecting carts/packaging equipment required.
• Must wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes/boots.

This position will initially focus on day-to-day material planning and execution activities, ensuring continuity of operations across inventory management, purchasing, and production coordination. Over time, the role may expand to include analytical support and participation in key supply chain initiatives, including IBP-related projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily material and supply planning activities, including execution of purchase orders and stock transfers
• Manage and optimize inventory levels, inventory health, and inventory control processes
• Coordinate production scheduling with third-party tollers, internal plants, suppliers, and third-party warehouses
• Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Logistics, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
• Maintain accurate master data and transactional data in SAP
• Develop and support reporting, analysis, and data updates using Excel and Power BI
• Assist with supply chain improvement initiatives and provide support for IBP-related projects

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree -  preferably in science, engineering, supply chain, or logistics, highly preferred 
• Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience. Preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
  
• Experience in Supply Chain or Material Planning
• SAP experience required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with Power BI preferred
• Strong data analysis and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
